There's something about owning a Kombi.
It's not easy, reliable or safe. Hell, some would say there is no sense at all in owning one, and from personal experience, I can assure you that ownership is certainly not always a road paved with sunshine and lollypops.
Owning a kombi can be expensive and extremely frustrating. But it's real. And let's be honest, it is kind of bloody awesome.
It's a metaphor for life. It's not always beautiful nor easy, but when it is and when it all actually comes together, well, that's worth all the previous bad stuff that has happened along the way.
A Kombi brings a smile to people's faces. People wave and stop to say hello, have a chat and share stories reminiscing about bygone times and of a simpler life. If nothing else, that'll do by itself.
